Principal’s Message

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of introduction as the newly appointed principal of Bowler Elementary! I am truly honored to work in partnership with families and the community to ensure student success is at the forefront of decision making.

I attended the University of North Carolina where I received my Bachelor degree and teaching credentials, with a minor in behavioral studies. I then went on to receive my Masters degree in Applied Leadership for teaching and learning at University of Wisconsin Green Bay.

As some may know, I have been the Bowler School District’s reading specialist for the previous five years. Prior to that, I taught second grade at Bowler Elementary for three years. Before arriving at Bowler, I taught second grade in North Carolina, at Meadowview Elementary. 

This upcoming school year will mark my tenth year in education. I could not be happier at the career path I have chosen. My goal has always been to give back to the students, families, and community where I grew up. I am committed to continue to do that in the new capacity of elementary principal.

I believe that ALL students deserve the opportunity to receive a high quality education in an environment that is safe and nurturing everyday. Bowler strives to create the environment that creates comfort for a student to expand their confidence and grow both academically and socially. 

In closing, I look forward to our first school year together learning and growing with our amazing students, dedicated staff, supportive parents, and caring community.
