About Us
Bowler Elementary School is situated within the district's PK-12th-grade facility, located on the outskirts of the village of Bowler in Shawano County. The school serves a diverse population of 4-year-old kindergarten to 6th-grade students from the village of Bowler as well as the five surrounding townships and the Stockbridge-Munsee Reservation. Bowler Elementary has a rich history of strong family involvement and a culture that highlights its goal of success for all students. Along with the core content areas of math, reading, writing, science, and social studies, students at Bowler are exposed to art, music, physical education, guidance, and computer technology. The school is a strong proponent of PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) to promote positive behavior among its student body and incorporates a RtI (Response to Intervention) program in its effort to reach all of its students with a differentiated approach. An extensive after-school program allows students to select from a wide variety of enrichment and remedial classes offered by staff members. Bowler Elementary strives to find success for all students as it helps prepare them for their future as they become contributing members to the community. On the annual state report card, the school has consistently scored in the "Meets Expectations" category for the past five school years.
