Bowler School District

We want to inform you about an upcoming initiative regarding the management of invasive species in our school forest. In order to preserve the biodiversity and health of our local ecosystem, we will be conducting a controlled chemical spray to address the presence of invasive species.

While this action is necessary for the long-term health of our forest, we understand concerns about the use of chemical treatments. Rest assured, the chemicals selected have been thoroughly vetted for their effectiveness and safety by qualified professionals. However, as with any chemical application, there are precautions that need to be taken.

To ensure the safety of all individuals, Bowler School is requesting that no unauthorized personnel enter the school forest from 5/2/24 - 5/6/24. Signs will be posted at the entrances to the forest to notify the public of the treatment schedule and provide guidance on safety measures.
